These terms apply when you use Clue Morning at cluemorning.com, including the installed web app. By playing or buying anything, you agree to them. Questions go to support@cluemorning.com.
Free daily games
The daily seven-game set is free to play. We may change, add, or retire games, scoring, and features over time. We work hard to keep puzzles fair and answers correct, but the games are provided “as is,” and we can’t promise the site will always be available or error-free.
Fair play and leaderboards
Leaderboards are meant to be fun and fair. Don’t use bots, scripts, automated solvers, or other tricks to submit scores, and don’t interfere with the site or other players. Leaderboard names must not be offensive, impersonate someone else, or include personal information about other people. We may remove scores or names, or reset leaderboard standings, that break these rules.
Purchases
You can buy optional digital extras: themed puzzle packs, premium themes, and Clue Morning Unlimited. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and may include sales tax where required.
- Packs and themes are one-time purchases. You keep access for as long as Clue Morning offers that content.
- Clue Morning Unlimited is a subscription that renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. It unlocks the reserve puzzle library while your subscription is active.
- Your Clue Key is emailed to you after purchase and restores your purchases on another browser or device. Keep it private; anyone with your key can use your purchases.
Cancelling Unlimited
You can cancel at any time by emailing support@cluemorning.com with your Clue Key or the email address you used to pay. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Unlimited access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Refunds
If something you bought doesn’t work, or you were charged by mistake, email support@cluemorning.com within 14 days of the charge and we’ll fix it or refund you. We also refund an Unlimited renewal charge if you contact us within 14 days of it and haven’t used Unlimited since it renewed. Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
Advertising
The free games are supported by ads. Buying a pack, theme, or Unlimited doesn’t remove ads unless the product says it does.
Content and ownership
The puzzles, artwork, game designs, and site code belong to Clue Morning. You may share your results and screenshots, but you may not copy, scrape, or republish puzzles or answers in bulk, or resell access to paid content.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Clue Morning isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change that affects paid products, we’ll post it here before it takes effect. Continuing to use Clue Morning after changes means you accept the updated terms.
