Clue Morning is a free collection of daily word, logic, trivia, and push-your-luck games played in your browser. This policy explains what information the site uses, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@cluemorning.com.
Information stored in your browser
To remember your progress without an account, Clue Morning stores data on your device using local storage and similar browser storage. This includes a random player ID, your daily progress and scores, streaks, archive history, your chosen theme, owned packs, and your Clue Key if you have one. Clearing your browser data removes this information from that device.
Scores, leaderboards, and public profiles
When you finish games, your scores are sent to our servers with your random player ID so they can count toward daily and all-time leaderboards, Clue Leagues, achievements, and your Stats. If you choose a leaderboard name, that name, your scores, badges, streaks, and recent Morning Run results are shown publicly on leaderboards and on your public player profile. Until you choose a name you appear as “Player.” Please don’t use your real full name or other personal details as a leaderboard name.
Purchases
Packs, premium themes, and Clue Morning Unlimited are sold through Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy; Clue Morning never receives your full card number. We keep a record of what you bought, the email address on the purchase, and the Clue Key that restores your purchases on another device, so we can deliver access, restore purchases, and answer support requests.
If you buy something or email us, we use your email address to send your Clue Key and purchase receipts and to reply to you. We don’t sell your email address or send marketing email without your permission. Email is delivered through Resend.
Analytics and site operation
Clue Morning is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most websites, our servers process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, and timestamps to deliver the site, prevent abuse, fix errors, and measure performance. We also keep first-party usage statistics, such as which games are started and completed, to improve the puzzles.
Advertising and cookies
Clue Morning uses Google AdSense to show ads that help keep the daily games free, and may use Google Ads to measure whether its own ads lead people to the site.

How long we keep information
Scores and leaderboard history are kept so long-running records stay accurate. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide access and meet tax and accounting obligations. Support emails are kept as long as they’re useful for helping you.
Your choices and rights
You can clear your browser storage at any time, change or remove your leaderboard name, and block cookies in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email support@cluemorning.com and include your Clue Key or leaderboard name so we can find your records.
Children
Clue Morning is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
